Dear Member,
"Mid May" the country is in the midst of a heat wave.
Environmentalist attributes it to the Global warming. Due to this the weather is
manifesting the signs of change.
While talking about change as the cliche goes "Change is the
only that is Constant". Change is good for growth. Let us adapt to the changing
environment. Let us grow and mature with change, to the advantage of ourselves
and society. The Global economy too has been undergoing a paradigm shift due to
developments and knowledge explosion. This has led to increased opportunities in
business investment and profession.
India is termed as "Giant in Leaps" or "An Elephant in
stride". It is not a mean phrase. The changing landscape of India in terms of
the youthful population, an intellectual youth, growing industrial capacity and
a very vibrant economy adds to the shine and glitter. On the flip side lack of
electricity, poor farmers’ lack of safe drinking water and lack of basic
amenities is a contradiction in terms. The society of haves and have nots. In
this changing scenario where do we stand. Let us add to the glory and reduce the
suffering of the have nots let us bring about the change in the lives of our
fellow beings.
The Ministry of Company Affairs did not wish to miss the bus
in the changing ‘E’ world. In the process it introduced the much ambitious
scheme "MCA 21". The scheme is welcome and the objectives are laudable. However,
the scheme is introduced without adequate awareness being created and lack of
training on the part of the regulator, the beneficiary and professionals who are
the intermedianes. Complaints have been received from members that there are
delays in getting work done. The Chamber is organizing a programme to educate
the members of MCA 21.
Let us rededicate ourselves to this great institution ‘The
Chamber’ of which we are members. Friends it is this sense of belonging which
motivates you to contribute to the growth of ‘The Chamber’.
My best wish to you and your family for the summer.
