Direct Tax Committee of the The Chamber of Tax Consultants jointly with the Malad Chamber of Tax Consultants had organised a Full Day Seminar on Trusts on 2nd June, 2007 at M.C. Ghia Hall, 18/20, Rampart Row, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai – 400 023. Shri A.J. Dholakia, Charity Commissioner, Shri K. M. Desai, Rtd. Chairty Commissioner, Shri A.R. Jani, Solicitor, CA. Sunil Gabhawalla, CA. (Dr.) P.P. Shah, CA. Anil Sathe, CA. Gautam Nayak & CA. Shariq Contractor, spoke on various topics relating to Trust. The response was very good for the seminar.

2.  Indirect Tax Committee

Indirect Tax Committee has organized a lecture meeting on New Services Introduced by the Finance Act, 2007 & Relevant Notifications an update at CTC Conference Hall, New Marine Lines, Mumbai – 400 020 on 7th June, 2007. Shri Amit Sarkar, CA. spoke on the subject. The meeting was well attended.

3.  Study Circle & Study Group Committee

Study Circle & Study Group Committee has organized a lecture meeting on Articles 2 & 3 of DTAA at CTC Conference Hall, New Marine Lines, Mumbai – 400 020 on 8th June, 2007. Shri Hiten C. Shah, CA. spoke on the subject. The meeting was well attended.

4.  Study Circle & Study Group Committee conducted the meeting on "Filing Tax Returns – New forms – Amendments pertaining to A.Y. 2007-08 & Other Important Issues connected thereto", 6th June, 2007 at SNDT Committee Room. Shri Atul T. Suraiya, CA. spoke on the subject. The response was very good for the meeting.
