  1. Past Events

  1. Allied Laws Committee had organised Lecture Meeting on “Recent Issues Under The Bombay Stamp Act and Registration Act”,which was held on 7th December, 2006, at Babubhai Chinai Committee Room, 2nd Floor, Indian Merchants Chamber, Churchgate, Mumbai where Shri Kantilal Unadkat, Advocate & Solicitor spoke on the subject. The Meeting was very well attended.
     

  2. Indirect Taxes Study Circle Meetings

    Indirect Taxes Study Circle Meeting was held on Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at SNDT Conference Room, Ground Floor, New Marine Lines, and Mumbai-400 020. The subject was “Export of Services”. CA (Ms) Puloma Dalal chaired the meeting and CA Girish Raman led the discussion. The meeting was very well attended.
     

  3. Study Circle & Study Group Committee conducted the Meeting on “Orientation Course on International Taxation” Wednesday, December 20, 2006 and on 5th January 2007, at Babubhai Chinai Hall, & Kilachand Hall respectively, 2nd Floor, Indian Merchants Chamber, Churchgate (W), Mumbai. CA. T.P. Ostwal spoke on the subject. The meeting was well attended.

    The Direct Taxes Committee has organised a Lecture Meeting on “Housing Projects & Section 80-IB(10) of Income-tax Act, 1961 – Current Issues” to be held on

  3. Indirect Taxes Committee has organisedInteractive Seminar on Service TaxV aluation Rules on Friday, 19, 2007 and Lecture Meeting on Tuesday, March6, 2007 and Study Circle Meeting on 15thJanuary 2007. For details refer January 2007 CITC NEWS.
     

  4. Study Circle & Study Group Committee has organised a Study Group Meeting on Thursday, January 25, 2007 on the subject “Recent Case Laws” at 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. at Babubhai Chinai Committee Room, 2nd Floor, IMC, Churchgate, Mumbai – 400 020. The meeting will be led by Shri Hiro T. Rai, Advocate.
     

  5. Direct Tax Committee has organised a lecture meeting on “Survey under the Income Tax Act – Technical & Practical aspects” on Thursday, 8th February, 2007. For further details please refer January 2007 CITC NEWS.
     

  6. Direct Tax Committee has organised one Full Day Seminar on “Taxation of Non-Resident Individuals (including FEMA aspects)” on Saturday 24th February, 2007. For further details please refer January 2007 CITC NEWS.
     

  7. Half Day Seminar on “Laws of Succession including Will and Family Arrangement and Partition”

  8. 30th Residential Refresher Course.

    The Residential Refresher Course Committee is pleased to announce 30th Residential Refresher Course at

  9. Lecture Meeting on “Union Budget – Provisions pertaining Indirect Taxes with special reference to Service Tax”
