NOTICE OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Notice is
hereby given that the Eightieth Annual General Meeting of THE
CHAMBER OF TAX CONSULTANTS will be held at Catholic Gymkhana, 47-A
Netaji Subhash Road, Near Taraporewala Aquarium, Charni Road, Mumbai
– 400 004 on Friday, August 10, 2007 at 4.30 p.m. to transact the
following business:

To consider the Annual Report of the Managing
Council for the year 2006-07.
-
To consider and adopt the audited accounts for the
year ended March 31, 2007.
-
To appoint auditors for the year 2007-08 and fix
their honorarium.
-
To declare results of the election of President
and thirteen Members of the Managing Council.
-
To transact any other business with permission of
the Chair.

Accounts are being separately sent to the members. |

If there is no
quorum by 4.30 p.m., the meeting will be adjourned for half an
hour and the members present at such adjourned meeting shall
form the quorum. |

The members should
send their queries, if any, on the Statements of Accounts and
Annual Report for the year 2006-07 to the Hon. Jt. Secretaries
at least four days before the day of the Annual General Meeting. |
